Salesforce Architect
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions.
- Design the overall architecture, data model, integration strategy, and technical components of Salesforce implementations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns to ensure the development of high-quality Salesforce solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, administrators, and developers, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Salesforce solutions.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, workflows, and functionalities based on business requirements.
- Customize and configure Salesforce platform to support various business processes and handle the deployment process.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for Salesforce implementation.
- Implement data integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, ETL tools, or middleware platforms.
- Perform data migration and data quality assurance activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy within Salesforce.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design documents, and test plans.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications, resolving technical issues and optimizing performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills, with proficiency in Flows, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web components.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including declarative configuration, customizations, deployments and integrations.
- Experience with any of the Deployment Tools Such as Ant Migration, Auto Rabbit, Copado, Flosum etc.
- Familiarity with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Conga/Apttus CPQ are a plus.
